What is the State Fall Leadership Conference?

The State Fall Leadership Conference (SFLC) is a one-day event in October. During this conference, members meet other members from New Jersey as well as interact with the new officer team. Workshops include duties of officers and professional development / chapter management. You also learn about the year’s new theme. Up to 6 officers with their adviser from each local chapter may attend.

What are the NFLCs?

“Students and advisers participate in motivational general sessions and professional development and career planning workshops. For many FBLA-PBL members, the NFLCs are a convenient and affordable way to experience much of the education and excitement of an NLC.” – National FBLA Website

Regional Competitive Events 2010

The Regional Competitive Events is a one day (per region) event at Mercer County Community College where each chapter goes one day to their regions’ event and competes for awards. This is the first step in the competitive event sequence. During the one-day event, the members are introduced to the officers from their region and they go on to compete against other competitors to try to make it in the top spots that qualify them for states.
